Caregiver daily log: a free printable sheet
What isn't a caregiver log for?
It isn't for deciding what something means, and it isn't for emergencies. It never means holding a worry back until the next appointment.
Keeping track is for the slow changes, the kind that only show up over weeks. It doesn’t replace whatever you’d normally do when something worries you, and nothing about it means holding a concern back until the next appointment.
It isn’t for emergencies either: in one, call emergency services. Whatever happened, write it down afterwards. It will be one of the most useful lines in the log.
And it isn’t for working out what something means. Writing down what you saw, in your own words, is enough. What it means is for the doctor to say.
