Terms

Last updated September 17, 2026

By using Centis you agree to these terms. They're written to be read. If something is unclear, ask at hello@centis.app.

What Centis is

Centis helps you keep notes about the care of someone you look after, by turning what you say into written notes you can review, search and share. It is in early access and free to use. Features may change, and some may be removed.

Not medical advice

Centis does not give medical advice, diagnose, or tell you what to do. Its summaries and answers only repeat what you told it, and it can make mistakes, including mishearing you. Always check what it wrote. For any decision about someone's health, talk to a qualified professional. In an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number.

Your notes are on your device

Notes are stored in your browser, not by us (see the privacy policy). We can't recover them if they're lost, for example if you clear your browser, change phones, or lose your device. Saving a copy regularly is your safeguard.

Using it fairly

What you put in

Your notes are yours. You give us only the permission needed to process them so Centis can work, as described in the privacy policy.

No guarantees, and what to check

We don't guarantee that what Centis writes down is accurate. It works from speech, so it can mishear a word, a name, a number or a date. Check anything that matters — a medication, a measurement, a date — before you act on it or pass it on to anyone. The Review screen is there for exactly that, and the original of what you said is always kept beside the note.

Centis is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. It may be unavailable, slow, or wrong. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses arising from using it or being unable to, including lost notes or decisions made based on its output.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms; the date above will change when we do. You can stop using Centis at any time. We may suspend access that breaks these terms.
